根据计划，神奇宝贝GO将首先在日本、欧洲和北美发布，随后会在南美、亚洲、非洲和中东发布，不过石原并未透露神奇宝贝GO具体的发布日期。
另外，石原还透露了除了神奇宝贝GO之外，神奇宝贝还有一款「大作」正在研发中。
